Sandra Benhamou

Sandra Benhamou, a Parisian of Italo-Tunisian origins and who lived in the United States for many years, works intuitively. Collector of modern and contemporary art, passionate about film and an admirer of the great masters of Italian architecture and design, she claims multiple influences.

While she favours natural materials, Sandra works to set the elements off against one another. Her approach to design is all about avoiding the obvious. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution in her world, and that goes for her eclectic mix of objects too. A true connoisseur of the art market, Sandra loves blending vintage flea market finds, rare pieces from auction houses, and contemporary ceramics from specialist galleries, making each project feel completely unique.

Since the start of her career, Sandra has always designed custom furniture for her projects, but in 2021 she took things further by launching her own collections, each showcased in carefully crafted atmospheres.

Although Sandra graduated from ESSEC, she’s self-taught in interior design and got her start by building her own country home in the Hamptons. In 2010, she opened her studio near Place du Palais Bourbon in Paris. Always personally involved and obsessed with the finest details, Sandra brings an intimate, hands-on approach to everything she touches.
